Shikhar Talwar

I am a freelance reporter and a master’s student at the London School of Economics. I have achieved gold-standard NCTJ grades and completed a BA (Hons) in Politics and Modern History at the University of Manchester.

I have worked as a trainee reporter for Ipswich Star and East Anglian Daily Times, writing several stories on local politics, particularly those centred on devolution and local government reorganisation.

Before that, I had freelanced for publications such as The Big Issue, covering a range of human-interest topics.
